As you prepare for your upcoming napa wine tour, we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information for a delightful experience. Please be advised that your entrance/tasting fees for each winery is not included in the tour package. Each winery will collect payment for your tasting fees upon arrival.

Kindly remember to bring adequate funds or credit/debit cards to cover any purchases you wish to make at the wineries. Most wineries accept various forms of payment, but it’s always a good idea to have options available.

We have partnered with Ranch Market, a local Napa Valley favorite.  Please be sure to add on a boxed lunch before completing your tour purchase.  It’s important to understand that there will not be food available for purchase at any of the wineries and no other stops will be made for lunch items.  If you do not want to purchase a box lunch, you’re welcome to bring along your own picnic items.  We have allotted 30 minutes to enjoy a picnic at Merryvale Vineyards prior to your tasting.  Lunch is an essential part of the day, so be sure you have something to nosh on!

Current schedule for the Napa Valley Wine Tours (Join in edition) 2024

  • 9:50AM – Depart Oxbow Market
  • 10:15AM – 11:30AM Etude ($50 per person, entrance and tasting fee) Etude – was established in 1982, when founding winemaker Tony Soter set his sights on the cool-climate Carneros region in the pursuit of producing world class Pinot Noir. As a winemaker, Tony always had a fascination with Pinot Noir. He was quoted as saying “Pinot Noir is the most appropriate vehicle with which to study wine growing, precisely because of its demanding nature but also because of its delicacy and transparency. Make no mistake it is a humbling pursuit, but when it’s right, Pinot Noir is a glorious and moving thing. It is in the pursuit of that experience that we all work.”
  • 12:00-12:30PM picnic @ Merryvale on own, 12:30-1:45PM ($50 per person, entrance and tasting fee) Merryvale Vineyards – was built in 1933 by Jack Riorda and a group of partners. Initially called Sunnyhill Winery, it was rechristened to Sunny St. Helena Winery a short time later. View additional timeline information by clicking here.
  • 2:00-3:30PM Sterling Vineyards – ($50 per person, entrance and tasting fee) Sterling Vineyards – was founded in 1964 by Oxford graduate and successful businessman Peter Newton. As one of only 27 bonded wineries in Napa Valley at the time, Sterling Vineyards was an early pioneer of crafting Bordeaux-inspired red wines in California and helped transform the region into the premier winemaking appellation we know today. In 1969 Sterling Vineyards bottled the first vintage-dated Merlot in California. This was also the winery’s first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery itself is an architectural icon in Napa Valley. Modeled after the beautiful white stucco buildings on the Greek island of Mykonos, it was the first winery built with the visitor in mind and is the only winery in the world with an aerial tram.
  • 4:30PM – Estimated back at the Oxbow Market
